Is the price of shipping included with my pledge?

No, the price of shipping is collected after the campaign has been completed and successfully funded. It is not included in the pledge pricing. See the section “Shipping” for details.

What if I live in a region that has duties/taxes/import fees?

Backers are responsible to pay any duties or taxes if you live outside the United States. Backerkit does not collect these fees.

Can I get a refund after my payment is processed?

Refunds and cancellations are not accepted after your payment has been processed. If a survey is not filled out within 3 months, your pledge will be assumed as a donation.

How long will it take to get my pins?

Please see the section “Shipping” for a rough breakdown. Creating pins takes months and the orders/processing/shipping will all be done by myself, so I appreciate your patience. If there are any delays or changes to the Timeline, I will update Backers.

How Do I Get the Free Collaboration Pin?

Back mine and JBlake Designs’ campaign and get a free pin from each of us! Both campaigns must meet their initial goal to be successful and be eligible for the free pins.

Do you ship to the EU?

Due to requirements for the new GPSR laws, I cannot ship to EU countries and cannot accept pledges from those regions. So sorry for the inconvenience 😔

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Terms and Conditions

Refunds - Refunds after the survey closure date will not be granted for any reason, and if you choose not to fill out your survey or pay shipping on time, your pledged amount will be considered a donation towards the project.

Shipping and Fulfillment - Shipping costs will be charged closer to fulfillment and when addresses are confirmed and locked. You will not receive your items if you do not pay shipping and any other relevant taxes or fees, and you will not receive a refund for your original pledge if you choose not to pay the shipping costs.

Damaged or Missing Items, Lost or Misdelivered Packages You will have 30 days after your package arrives to you to report to [email protected] if you need replacement items or have missing items in your order. For packages that go missing, you will have 45 days after the item is sent (60 for international packages) to report lost or misdelivered packages to have us resend or follow up on the items.
Backers are responsible for providing proper and up to date email addresses on Kickstarter/Backerkit, and for reading updates as they come out to inform them of this information and the deadline dates. Tracking info will be automatically sent to provided email addresses, and it is the backer's responsibility to follow-up on their packages should problems arise.
